Get married on board

.

Dream location aboard

The right partner is the most important of all, obviously. The dress, the rings, the invitation, certainly things to pay attention to. The location however, has the most influence on the atmosphere of your wedding day. It must be special of course. It must feel right for you. It must offer everything that your special day needs.

Celebrate love aboard, on a historic sailing ship in the Netherlands. Immerse yourself in the romantic atmosphere of a bygone era. Your wedding boat sails, while you enjoy your reception, dinner and party on board. You rent a ship exclusively for your guests, complete with hospitable crew.

Get married on a sailing ship

Some ships are licensed by the municipality as an official wedding location. For other ships, you can easily apply for a license. This means that you can actually get married on board. Imagine the intimate ceremony. Say I do, with a view over the water, the sound of seagulls in the distance, a gentle breeze through your hair. No stuffy room, but a wonderful, casual atmosphere.

How do you arrange such a special wedding ceremony? First, contact a civil servant from the place where you are getting married, to inform you about the rules for getting married aboard. Taken care of all the formalities? The marriage officient will come on board on your day and voila, arranged.

How do I organise my dream wedding?
