Vrijheid

Vrijheid means freedom. And that's exactly wat sailing is. Come aboard the Vrijheid for a day, weekend or week sailing trip on the IJsselmeer, the Markermeer or the Wadden Sea and experience the ultimate freedom. You will certainly stand out with this impressive topsail schooner of up to 44 metres long with a sail area of over 500 m2.  Thanks to all kinds of facilities, such as a high closed railing, the Vrijheid is also very suitable for groups with small children or people with mobility problems.

Relax anywhere 

You can participate actively on this enormous ship, helping hoist the sails or take the helm. Relaxing is possible anywhere: in the spacious sitting area on deck or in the steering cabin, nowadays furnished as a lounge area. The deck house, with a spacious seating area, bar, beer tap and French doors is also a wonderful place. Or what about the cozy day room in maritime atmosphere with open kitchen and cozy fireplace? Last but not least: there's a Finnish sauna on board. This is as good as it gets, right?

Sleep well!

You can spend the night in one of the 9 stylish cabins, with 6 showers and toilets. They all have beds of two meters (there are even 6 beds of 2.40 meters!), central heating and cold and hot running water. There is also one extra luxurious, spacious cabin with a sitting area and rain shower. This four-person cabin, like two other four-person cabins, can easily be transformed into a two-person cabin for even more privacy and comfort.
