Tsjerk Hiddes – Comfortable sailing aboard a unique historic ship

Step aboard the Tsjerk Hiddes, the largest still-sailing traditional Dutch stevenaak! Built in 1881, this impressive sailing ship combines historic charm with modern comfort. With 12 comfortable cabins and accommodation for up to 30 overnight guests or 60 people on day trips, the ship is ideal for families, groups of friends and corporate outings.

Comfort and privacy on board

All 12 cabins have their own private shower, toilet and heating. The bright deck saloon offers beautiful views across the water and features a cosy bar. The spacious galley is also fully equipped. Prefer to cook together or have everything taken care of with catering? Both options are available!

Sailing, drying out and walking on the tidal flats

Skipper Peter and his crew welcome you aboard for a sailing trip across the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea. Help hoist the sails, take the helm yourself or simply relax and enjoy the views. One of the highlights is drying out on the Wadden Sea: when weather and tidal conditions allow, the ship settles on a sandbank at low tide. You can then step off the ship and explore the tidal flats on foot.
