Sybaris

The holidays on this boat were fantastic — a truly wonderful experience. When I was young, I had already taken a trip on a boat like this, and I have such fond memories of it that I wanted my children to have the same experience. And I have to say, it was absolutely the right decision.

They are teenagers, and having such an active holiday has been fabulous for them. It is something they will remember for the rest of their lives.

Richard is a fantastic skipper. He really enjoys spending time with young people and is able to keep them entertained throughout the whole trip. Apart from the necessary sailing duties, he always has activities and ideas planned for their free time so that they can have a great time.

The adults enjoyed it very much too. We were also lucky with Sacha, the cook we had, who always prepared delicious food that we all thoroughly enjoyed.

Peter, the skipper’s assistant, was also very kind and friendly with both us and the children. We really enjoyed his company and appreciated his attitude and the way he handled the various tasks on board. He was always helpful and contributed to making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

I also have to mention how much of a privilege it was to have a bathroom with a shower in our cabin. I remember travelling on the Pallieter, which was smaller and didn't have shower facilities on board, so we had to use the facilities in the different ports. At the time, I was young, so it didn't bother me at all, but now I realise that having everything in the cabin was incredibly convenient.

So, we can only say positive things about this trip. In fact, I've already told several friends about it, and they found it really, really interesting. Perhaps you'll have some new customers from Catalunya (Barcelona) soon! I certainly hope so, because the experience is absolutely worth it.

No trip

The trip on Sybaris was amazing. The whole group really enjoyed the trip on the Markermeer, sailing, staying on the boat and exchanging with Joerg and Richard, the captain. I really recommend the experience on Sybaris, which has been one of the best experiences on the water so far!

It was perfect for 10 peoples, we had lot of places and the Sybaris is in very good condition.

In den letzten Jahren war ich auf verschiedenen Schiffen für Segeltouren. Die Sybaris ist ein solides gutes Schiff. Aber ohne guten Skipper ist das beste Schiff nur hab so gut. Hier kommt Richard ins Spiel. Richard bringt als Skipper seine Gäste nicht nur von A nach B. Er macht das Segeln zu besonderen Erlebnis (natürlichauch mit seinem Team). Er ist der Entertainer an Board und hat immer Ideen bei einer Stimmungsflaute alle wieder zu begeistern. Auch seine Visionen wie es in den nächsten Jahren weiter gehen könnte finde ich spannend. Für die nächste Segelfreizeit liegt nun die Messlatte verdammt hoch.

Het was prachtig, helaas stond er het gehele weekend weinig wind maar toch erg genoten!
Het schip had een leuke zit ruimte aan dek voor 16 personen en een tap aan boord. En Richard de schipper is een vakman! En erg gezellig
