Step aboard the Simmer fan Fryslân, an elegant galeas built in 1932 with a rich history as a sailing cargo ship. In 2003, this impressive three-masted vessel was converted with great love and attention to detail into a comfortable passenger ship. The result? A unique ship, rigged as a barquantine, where authentic character and modern comfort blend perfectly.

Comfortable Stays Below Deck

On the lower deck, you will find twelve spacious, cozy twin cabins (approx. 11–13 m²). Each cabin is a comfortable home away from home, fully equipped with everything you need:

• Beds: Two comfortable single beds (which can be pushed together in most cabins). Four cabins also feature an additional pull-down bed, making them perfect for three people.
• Convenience & Tech: A private desk, ample closet space, a safe for your valuables, and multiple power outlets.
• Climate: Central heating and ventilation. The portholes cannot be opened, but most cabins feature a skylight for a lovely fresh breeze. Two cabins are also equipped with an extra ventilation system.
• En-suite Bathroom: Each cabin has its own modern en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink, and hairdryer.
