Step aboard the Poseidon and discover the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea! Built in 1903, this beautiful traditional sailing ship combines historic charm with modern comfort. With accommodation for 32 overnight guests and space for up to 50 people on day trips, the Poseidon is perfect for families, groups of friends, clubs and corporate outings.
Comfortable and welcoming on board
The Poseidon offers 12 twin cabins, 2 four-person cabins and a cosy lounge where everyone can eat, relax and spend time together. Families with children are very welcome. Children's life jackets are available, and additional facilities for younger guests can be arranged on request.
Sailing, drying out and walking on the tidal flats
Help hoist the sails or simply sit back and enjoy the views. Skipper Nico and his crew create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere on board. A trip across the Wadden Sea offers something truly special: when the tide goes out, the Poseidon can settle on the seabed. You can then step off the ship and explore the tidal flats on foot – an unforgettable experience!
