Come aboard the tjalk Medusa and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere on this historic sailing ship. The crew will be happy to introduce you and your family, friends, colleagues or students to the pleasant IJsselmeer, the unique Wadden Sea and the beautiful inland waters of Friesland and Overijssel. Sailing is also very sustainable, with respect for people and nature. Let the wind determine your rhythm and forget everyday life for a while.

Feel like being active? On board, you can help set the course, hoist the sails and tack. Sailing experience is not necessary, the skipper and his mate will gladly teach you the tricks of the trade. Do you prefer to relax? That's possible too! Find a nice spot on deck and enjoy everything around you.


Enjoy comfort
The Medusa is also a fine ship below deck. In the fully equipped, cosy day room with a lot of daylight, you can look back on a wonderful day on the water together. Enjoy the meals in the open kitchen, equipped with a 6-burner gas stove and oven. Whether you are preparing a simple meal or an extensive dinner, you are going to love it! Staying the night? The Medusa has twenty sleeping places, divided over six cabins. After a day of exhilarating sailing, crawl into your comfortable bed and wake up the next day full of energy. All cabins have a washbasin with hot and cold water. The central heating on board ensures a pleasant temperature when it is chilly.
