Surprisingly spacious, atmospheric and run by an enthousiastic skippers couple. That’s the comfortable two masted clipper Korevaer, built in 1911. This ship is particularly suitable for larger groups that set sail for a lovely sailing adventure on the Dutch inland waterways. There is plenty of space and you can stand up straight everywhere. Good ventilation makes sure that you can enjoy a good night sleep.

Meet Hans and Jet
Hans is the skipper of the Korevaer. Jet is the hostess and takes care of the food and drinks. For over 25 years, Hans and Jet are sailing with passion. They started with groups on a smaller ship, and since 1999 on the Korevaer. Hans has renovated many ships, lived on them and sailed them. To be able to sail the ship with optimal results, a ship mate always sails along. In the summer, Hans and Jet live on the ship in the home port Monnickendam. In the winter they sail the ship to the centre of Leiden and live ashore. The ship is then available as a floating, perfect holiday accommodation for groups.
