Sail away to the quiet environment of water and nature on the two masted tjalk Aagtje, with her experienced crew. Until 1942, this beautiful sailing ship transported flower bulbs and cattle. Unimaginable, considering the comfortable cabins and the nice woodwork, that is renewed in 2011. Fortunately, guests still experience the well preserved historical, nautical ambiance. The joy of the sailing, the freedom and teamwork on board are the ingredients of a unique sailing adventure. Aagtje explored the Wadden Sea with countless groups. You don't have to do anything, but are allowed to do anything. It's up to you and your group. Everybody's talent can contribute.
Where to?
You probably don't expect it, but the draught of the ship is only one meter. This makes it also possible to sail the Frisian backwaters, that are more shallow. Furthermore, because of the flat bottom, the ship can dry out on the shallows. It's an amazing experience to just climb of a majestic ship and take a walk on the wads, until the tide let's you know that it's time to go back on board.

Susanne Willie and Diederik Sonneveld are the proud owners of the two masted tjalk Aagtje and both licensed captains. They're team is steady as a rock and they have many years of experience. They made extraordinary sailing trips with numerous groups. The wishes of their guests are their guidelines and pay good attention to the teamwork that comes along with sailing a large ship. Everyone can contribute with knowledge, skills or strength, but only if they want to.
Furthermore, Susanne and Diederik al very experienced in sailing with youthful guests like school classes, but also children with illnesses, and physically or mentally challenged children.
