Store Baelt

The Store Baelt was built in 1928 as a motor coaster with auxiliary sails. She transported freight across the North- and East Sea en sailed the Atlantic Ocean. In the second world war, she got involved in operation Neptune as a balloon vessel, offering shelter to the Normandic allies. After lots of wandering, she got restored in 2012. The result: a magnificent ship, robust and sea worthy, comfortable, ambient and luxurious, equipped with a bar and… a sauna!

Departing from Harlingen, the Store Baelt is the perfect ship to explore the Wadden and the North Sea. The luxurious day time area makes the Store Baelt particularly suitable for groups who appreciate this, or for corporate trips.
