Search for a pirate treasure with the Spes Mea
Ahoy! The captain of the Spes Mea is looking for big and little sea heroes for an adventurous sailing trip on the Wadden Sea. Come together with your child(ren) on board in the harbor of Harlingen. Like real sailors you can wait and see where the wind takes you sailing from island to island. Along the way you will discover special 'sea creatures' such as seals, oysters, mussels, starfish, crabs and much more in this protected nature reserve.
Tracking around the Wadden Sea
The captain can let the ship 'fall dry' on a sandbank at low tide. Very exciting to see how all the water runs away and you can see the bottom of the Wadden Sea. You climb with a ladder off board and walking over the seabed you will find everything. Maybe even a treasure map? Together with the other sea heroes on board, you go to Terschelling in search of a real pirate treasure that has been hidden for a long time and could not yet be found by any landlubber. A thousand bombs and grenades, that will be quite a job!
Who does what?
For the children, a tour guide sails along, who organizes and accompanies all adventures. As a parent you have all the time you need for yourself, but feel free to join in if you secretly like to go hunting with an eye patch and sword. Parents help prepare the meals, with the assistance of small chefs of course possible. On the last day you set sail again to Harlingen, where you will leave the ship after an exciting week. Do you dare to take on the adventure? Welcome aboard!
